Yes, you will (at least very likely). Congrats on the purchase!

A few lessons i learned, it is entirely up to you on what works best.

1. Tried the PVC ram mount option and did not like it. not stable enough for me and requires two hands to set up and take down.
2. Graph, you will soon be wanting it way higher - say 12 to 18 inches
3. zip ties, easy but switch to electrical tape.
4. zero degree mount, much better than the offset mount they come with. makes it easier to find your jig.
5. 93sv - auto hide the menu at the bottom to increase available screen size. you can make this adjustment in settings. the new software update makes it easier to adjust depth, forward view, and gain.

Good luck!

Dude - what did you change to, since you didn't like the PVC option? Other 'commercial' options are $$...mo money, mo money.

On my mount from Fishing specialties , the cable runs inside the aluminum shaft,

My install was relatively painless , only a couple of hours .

ha ha, good work on that. I started, then packed it up and went back to the shop and had them put it in for me. Did not have the patience. You will love it.

I went with the LS pole mount from Liftsaver (Blue Nitro on this forum). Shut up and Fish has a quality one, also look at Fishing Specialties or SeeLite. yes, they are more money but why spend two grand + on the electronics and then skimp on the install.

Some people never tire of the PVC ram mount option, it just wasn't for me.

Is anyone else running the zero degree offset mount on the transducer? I’ve read several mixed reviews on whether or not it actually makes a difference when mounting the transducer to a dedicated pole mount rather than the trolling motor shaft. I’m still running the factory angled transducer mount on a poleducer but was curious if it would help to switch to the zero offset.

I just finished installing mine. Pulling the wires through the hull sucked, but otherwise so issues. I mounted my graph on a balzout mount which moves it up about a foot off the deck, still get a sore neck after a few hours looking down. My pvc pole works great, easy to put in and stow for running. Your gonna love it!
