Looking for some insight on putting underwater green lights on a dock. What manufacturer, timers and wiring have been reliable for you and what not to use or do. Thanks in advance. Don't want to find out the hard way.

Neighbor had two of one brand and two of the brand below (green monster). Green monster was brighter/seemed to put out more light. Bought one and have been pleased with it. Not cheap but they are well made. Green Monster fishing light thegreenmonsterfishinglight@yahoo.com 334-332-0003

Make sure you put in a circuit breaker. Be a good time to call a pro, and not go the DIY route.

Do not buy Aqua Dock Light. They are not the actual manufacturer of the light and the OM will not stand behind their product.

One of the things I like about the green monster light is it is turn key. Photocell turns it on at dusk, off at dawn, you can order cable to length you need, and has circuit breaker plug so just plug it in to a GFI outlet on the dock.

I have two 15000 Lumen Green Blobs. I bought a 12 vlt 10 amp power supply/timer combination. They are awesome. If you have fishermen come by and there is potential for it to be hung or snagged, drop the light down some clear PVC tubing and suspend it at your desired depth. Stay with the low voltage in case your wire gets nicked.

I like the idea of a 12V/10amp power source for safety.

The Fishin' & Stuff on YouTube has some great ideas and hacks.
Boats are like Strippers. They work until you quit throwing $100 bills at them.

I've fishing the expensive Halogen fishing lights at PK and I've used my low cost LED lights dropped off the back of my boat. Both work fine. If budget is no issue, Get the green monster lights. If budget is an issue, drop an led light and put it on a timer. The most important thing about these lights is the timer, as you want the light to come on every night to draw fish on a regular basis.
One thing I've noticed about green lights is they are much better for White bass and LM bass than crappie. In fact, at a very clear lake like PK, a crappie that is smart enough to live to be 10 inches is smart enough to know it will not live long if it gets illuminated by that light. I never catch crappie in those lights. I can catch them around the edges of the green lights and fish low hanging bright mercury and florescent lights successfully for crappie.
John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.
