Texoma has been tough for me the last two weekends. I usually get to the lake around 8 which is when the topwater bite is dying down and have to leave a little before the afternoon bite starts. I have still managed a few fish in the middle of the day. I tried trolling last week and then caught a handful of bait mid day before breaking out the thumper. Just for fun I decided to try for some of the catfish that were drawn in by the thumper. I caught a couple of nice pan sized blue cats. I don’t really catfish and know these get close to 100lbs but I think I could catch a bunch this size...
