Taking notes on upcoming purchase.
Lowrance, hummingbird, or Garmin with ability to add livescope later?
SI and DI is a must now.
Hard to operate? Screen failures?

Add Livescope when you want to later. I’ve been doing the same research, and this is mostly what I’m hearing, especially from a couple guides I know. Not that particular unit especially, but Garmin. That’s the way I’m going.

The 122sv is the same unit but w/out maps. You purchase the map card as mentioned for better mapping.
