I'm in the market for my first bay boat. I've owned boats in the past, just not a bay/saltwater boat. If you know of a boat that meets my needs please let me know! I'm located in San Antonio but don't mind travelling up to 5 hrs for the right boat. I don't get on here often so text messaging is best at 817.271.6212

Max budget of $18000.

After exhaustive research I've narrowed my must have criteria to the following.

-22'+
-No wooden structural components
-Tunnel hull
-Yamaha outboard (150+)
-Trailered height 10' or less
-Jack Plate
-Trolling Motor
-New-ish electronics, nothing fancy, but in working condition.
-Prefer aluminum trailer but a galv trailer isn't a deal-breaker.
-Essentially looking for turn-key, water ready boat and trailer.
-Primarily interested in Triton, Skeeter, Blue Wave, Century, Majek, or other similar mid-tier boat maker.

Thanks TFF!!
-Taylor

I think that's going to be tough at 18k for 22'+

Have you looked at 2coolfishing?

The #1 question on a "bay" boat in Texas? What bay are you going to use it in? That narrows it down to finding what you really need vs the thousands of choices.

Galveston/Matagorda would be a 180 degree different choice than Seadrift/South.

18 k for a used 22 ft mid tier bay boat in this hot seller's market is almost impossible. unless the boat is before 2004. 22ft is the perfect size for 3-4 fisherman.
I would not look at anything less in size.
