It's a little early for us to start Catfishing as we normally begin doing trips in October and then all thru the Winter. However, we sometimes have folks who want some Fish Fry material this time of year or we limit out early on White Bass and then top off the box with some Eaters. This was the case on a couple of trips this past week. Eater Blues and Channels are in 10'-15' FOW and can be caught on DK's Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook. Just throw out a little chum, wait 15 minutes and get ready. If you don't have a few in the box pretty quickly, move to another spot. Fish this week were caught off Hickey Island in the timber. Saturday's Whites for a Grandad & Grandson were limited by 8AM and then we filled the box with Channels. (See Pics) We have August Openings if you want to get on the Lake.
