How do you keep your fish that you are going to eat while you are fishing? ( Ice chest with ice, live well, bucket, etc.)

I keep my catfish and fresh water Reds on ice in a ice chest . If I am fishing for White Bass or crappie they go into a live well.
Side Note: When I am fishing salt water all of my fish go on ice in a ice chest.

In the past I've kept them about ever way...stringer, basket, live wells but in recent years its been all ice and ice chest.

Bucket of water and then into a ice chest for the trip home!

In a plastic left over "ice bag" in the ice chest until cleaning later in the day...then put the cleaned fish in a sealable bag & back on ice...

I have a mesh bag that hangs off 2 D rings on the float tube. I put them in there if I want to keep them and they stay alive in the bag. As soon as I get out of the water they go in a cooler with ice and I clean them as soon as I get home. I normally don't clean them at the lake.

Ice in a ice chest.  Side Note: Live well on certain occasions. (When on a boat and not a kayak.)

75° or hotter surface water temp I'm putting eating fish in the cooler on ice..... unless in a tourney....

Throw them in a bucket of water as I catch them,then in a ice chest when I'm done fishing.

When I'm keeping some fish, I start out throwing them in the live well. When I have 10 in the live well, I start throwing them in the ice chest.
