I know this has happened to lots of guys and yesterday, it happened to me. I looked at it and thought about if I could repair it till the replacement got here. I took it off the Trolling motor and put the remaining neck as it would be if it wasn't broken and saw that there was enough of the neck to drill a 1/4 inch hole thru it. I marked it and then drilled a hole all the way thru the neck. Used the original bolt and plastic sleeves and installed it back on. Looks pretty strong now. I have ordered a replacement neck piece but will just keep it till I need it . Might last a long time this way.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Bobby
