Where are there some good walking/hiking trails in the DFW area? I’ve been on the one in Duncavillle/Cedar Hill off 1382 near Joe Pool. What about northwest Dallas area? Thanks.

Grapevine lake has many good ones. I downloaded an app called All Trails that had lead me to some pretty good trails nearby that I did not previously know about. It has descriptions of the trails, rates them based on difficulty, and many reviews for the trails.

I think it is called the Lone Star trail or something that goes around Lavon. I see alot of horse people using it.

This! Great little place. You can't fish from the banks, but you can launch kayaks, canoes and pond boats.

I just walk around my neighborhood, just started a few months ago to get the dog out of the house and lose a few pounds. I intended to find a nice trail too, but after going around the neighborhood, i'm gonna keep just doing that. I've met lots of neighbors I never knew before and they all good folks so far. Been good for me socially and physically.
