I could see that they could get that big with the right feeding and right genetics. They do it with deer and elk etc. all the time.

That's a big one. I'd like to see a pic where he isn't holding it way out in front though to get a better idea of the size. Or show it next to a tape.

Monster Gill! Great catch.  Side Note: What kind of sunfish is it? Looking at the ear it does not resemble the Bluegill. The ear resembles a Longear/Redbreast? Bluegill body for sure. I guess if it is a Bluegill it is either a Bluegill mix or that is just the way Bluegill are in Oklahoma? Any ideas?  Again that is one HUGE TANK !
