I am going there towards the end of the month and have not been there but once as a child. Will be staying close to the 134 bridge. Are there marked boat lanes for the lake, or where would it be safe to run and not run. I also see folks talking about different names of points ect. Anything that has where they are at. As I said know absolutely nothing about the lake. Thanks all

Look for post about CC reports and then user Dennis Christian. In is signature info are several links. One of those is a lake map with most of those locations you are reading about marked.

North of 334 gets pretty shallow and stumpy.
Majority of the lake South of 334 is pretty safe to run.
Definitely look for Dennis reports and maps.
They are a big help.

This is a map of the lake just south of the 334 bridge. Spots A, B and E are your best places to fish in that area of the lake.

Sunken Island and Enchanted Isle usually produce well. I like the Northern spots more later in the year.
