Who would yall recommend to hire for a trip on Chambers? Never been and just recently moved to Ennis and wanting to learn a little bit about the lake, mainly where to run/not run.

Yup that would be my choice. Don't know if he still does, but I think he used to guide there. Last I heard he charged about $800 a day, but that was years ago. He's good friends with a buddy of mine. Showed us a few spots on a map a few weeks before a top 6 tourney once. First day we pulled up on a pond dam he recommended and, nothing. The second day we caught 30+, on the same spot. I've heard that's how R.C. fishes though.
Small pond dam within sight of the main dam. Caught them on the old ring frys.
It's a tough lake to fish.

He probably hasn't been on that lake in decades, I think he said as much on a facebook live match with his son they did on lake waco a few years ago.

Probably right. I have seen him on Fayette at least 3-4 times through the years though.

I don't know much about the north end but you do need someone to show you around the south end. I have a friend that lives on the south side and have spent some time with him and there is a lot of places that you must be real careful due to the tress that you can't see. I know there is a guy that does guides for Whites on the forum, you might want to check with him (BOB HOLMS GS).

I’ve known Clint Farris for years. He’s a great guy & can fish. It probably comes down to how much you want to spend. Both guys mentioned are good ones.

Good recommendation from a guy that would know and I would also add James as a great person you could have a trip with there.
