Heading to Belton for the first time to scout. Only looking for ramp suggestions that are pretty accessible and safe to have the truck and trailer parked all day. Like many lakes there are some that you should avoid. Hoping to stay away from the main lake to avoid wake boats as much as possible. Not worried about burning fuel. Want to run as much water as i can just to get a feel of the lake but want to make sure I don't come back to busted windows.

Thanks in advance

Very few problems like that around Belton, I never give it a second thought when I fish it, especially in daylight hours. White Flint at the upper end, Cedar Ridge mid lake, Temple Lake Park for the lower end.

It’s been since the spring, but I did Temples Lake Park last time, and it was fine. Never had a problem any of the times I’ve ever fished there.

Use Cedar Ridge. Good ramp and mid lake.

Franks Marina is about the most protected ramp as far as staying away from wind and waves but it is all the way down on the south end of the lake near the dam. You would have to cross a lot of open water to get anywhere worth fishing. Good luck staying away from wake boats anywhere on the lake after about 10AM or so, except maybe north of the 36 bridge.

Sparta valley ramp is secluded but a little tough to get to. Other side of the lake we used the ramp at Morgan's point marina. Never had an issue with our stuff at any of the ramps. Frank's can get busy so be aware of that. Lake is busy right now...

I like temple lake park the best if its not covid closed, local PD regularly drags through there, cedar ridge is fine too though you might hit a deer on the way in or out of there, owl creek is probably the worst for break ins

I’m sorry to hear Lake Belton is so busy. I love that lake. Stillhouse too. Lake Fork Guy on YouTube just released a couple of videos recorded there. I’m looking forward to the lakes not being so busy.
