The Texas City ammonium nitrate explosion in 1947 was 2200 tons. Did a report on that one in college when I lived in Texas City. Hundreds of people came to see the fire and were killed instantly. The 2 ton anchor on the boat was hurled over 1.5 miles and still stands at the entrance to the Tx City Dike. Two sight seeing planes where blown out of the air. Half the windows in Galveston, 10 miles away were blown out. They pulled all of the students to head to the disaster site to render what help they could.

They will probably never have an exact death toll. I imagine some people close enough were vaporized

What rocket scientist thought it would be a great idea to store all that AN next to-in the same building as fireworks? I mean, this has plot written all over it. OSHA don't exist in countries like that.

What rocket scientist thought it would be a great idea to store all that AN next to-in the same building as fireworks? I mean, this has plot written all over it. OSHA don't exist in countries like that. and hamas doesn't go to school past the 3rd grade.

The next door building looks like concrete grain silos. They are pretty stout.
