this yr i did some testing.i have clay soil so i bought some dyno dirt from the denton county dump on mayhill rd. $30.00 per yrd also used fox farms potting soil. the dyno dirt was #1 by a long shot, bigger leaves, darker color, more fruit..bigger,taller healthier plants. i am sold on this stuff not sure what they are doing to it but this stuff rocks.

Dyno dirt is the composted/dried solids left from their wastewater treatment plant. Kind of like Milorganite is made from the city of Milwaukee wastewater treatment

How much Fox Farm did you use to compare? I buy one bag to add to my mix when I start seeds and cringe every year. A yard would cost like 1K. Like Turf Dawg said it's like Milor but in a soil form. Looking at the soil test it has lots of iron and calcium with a good Ph of 6.9, so not much or any of the nutrients are bound up in the soil. So the results you're seeing are on par. Looks like it would make some really good raised bed mix and at a good price point.

My garden and St. Augustine both love Dyno Dirt. Great stuff at very reasonable prices.
