I was in that area and noticed they have a boat ramp at brazos park east., spoke with a guy launching who was a catfisherman and he told me there plenty crappie back there . I always thought it was strictly kayak and canoe back there. I saw the corps put out fish attractors in there several years back.. anyone here fish that area of the Brazos river for crappie? lots of bends in that area, and was told its fairly deep., theres also a ramp on the west side of the park, its deceptive because its real wide, but the concrete terminates abt a foot in the water, then its mud. so I would not attempt to launch a big boat there.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

No sir, closest is up the river at Cameron park.
Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state. But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Are there any restaurants there where you can park at a courtesy dock and go in to eat?

I'm pretty sure you can tie up to the bottom of Buzzard Billys.
