It's just about more monotonous than Conroe as fishing goes - the contours are even blah, more akin to water in a bowl. There are some youtube videos shot by a member here riding along on a TPWD airboat back when the drought had the lake down tremendously. Wide expanses of the bottom were exposed, showing just how flat and boring the virtually nonexistent structure is. Years ago, I did come across one shallow point with a small field of lily pads on it, and that was the ONLY vegetation I've ever seen on that lake.

The only vegetation you're gonna find on the lake is up in the far northwest corner up Yegua Creek. It's shallow muddy silt. Occasionally you can find some in the back of some shallow coves on the south side. Mostly rock piles and brush piles. Good WB, crappie, and cat fishing, though I have caught several 5+lb LMb and 2 close to 8.
If I fished for money.........I'd be broke.
