Many years ago, Gene Larew invented a salt impregnated worm in electric blue at Table Rock lake. For about two years they accounted for probably 80% of the bass caught there. Of course that's all about 99% of fishermen were using! I think it may have been the first salt impregnated soft plastic on the market. I used to see Gene testing his lures in the pool at his resort. He was one of a kind.

Earlier this year at Comodero I was catching on two different Zoom flukes. Pro Blue Red Pearl and Glimmer Blue. Caught fish on both but the Pro Blue was by far the better producer. They would not touch anything green. Did not try black/blue because it had never worked down there before, for me anyway.

You can also blue spike it dye, keep dipping it to you get just the color you need.
