Boy was it windy. Actually changed where we were going to launch from to get us closer to where we were fishing. Water temps 85 degrees. But besides all of that the fish were biting for most. Congratulations to Curt Blount for catching his 1st over of the year. It looked to be over ten. Real solid.

On the 5th Thursdays each year we fish "special" event tournaments. The was a five fish limit team tournament. All fish over 10" count including slots.
With added money from the club treasury they paid 4 places for teams and 2 places for lunkers.

First Place Team of Tom Charlebois and Bob Lambert had a 5 fish limit for 15.90 LB with a 4.49 Lunker caught on jigs.

Second place team of Curt Blount and Bruce Allen had a 5 fish limit for 14.69 LB with the number one lunker of 8.55 LB caught on a drop shot.

Third place team of Randy Bunch and Herb Powell had a 5 fish limit for 14.17 LB with the number two lunker of 7.15 LB caught on a drop shot.

Fourth place team of Charles Abresch and Jimmy Bright had a 5 fish limit for 12.58 LB with a 5.08 LB lunker.

13 teams fished and there were no skunks. Due to covid 19 some of our anglers are sitting out until they feel it is safe to resume.

The LFA fishes 50 Thursdays throughout the year . The club is made of of boaters fishing against boaters and co-anglers fishing against co-anglers with both anglers in the boat viewing the fish measurements before release. Except for this format.

We only fish at Lake Fork and if you look at todays lunkers you can see why. Or check back to the last several weeks to see the other overs we've caught recently.
