Biden famously said in the New York Observer, โI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, thatโs a storybook, man.โ

My dad would make bisquits and roll them around in the bacon grease before cooking

Breakfast is my favorite meal, runny eggs and all. The best is biscuits with sausage gravy!

At my house I do the cooking for in-laws, outlaws and those that just drop by! Some like scrambled "straight up" with no additions Others like scrambled with canned cream, fresh cream or whole milk. Talking about just a "dash" of either. Then I do Sunny Side Up and they look real classy! Others want over light. Easy Peasy! Some like over medium. Another easy deal. A Sister-In-Law wants FRIED HARD! And that's the way she shouts it out! LOL! For myself, I just put corn oil in a 1930 steel NeverBreak pan. I get the pan HOT but not smoking and crack 3 or 4 eggs into the pan. I can't stand the agony of eggs sitting in a "cold" frying pan. Yes, I use the side of the pan! I like the sound and sizzle of the eggs in this way. I cannot tell you when I know to flip them, I just DO! After the flip it is only about maybe 15 seconds that I put them on my platter. Yes again....Platter! A plate is too small to hold the bacon and fried Owen's sausage! Happy Cooking!
****Sun sinking low....lines baited.....gentle south breeze blowing...you realize.........I AM! .
