Fishing buddies Jeff,Steve,along with myself fished this past Wednesday. We checked some of our crappie locations and found some good numbers. Fish were by brush piles in 18 to 20 feet of water. We also caught a few nice Bluegills .Jigs Chartreuse/Black got the best results. Kept some for the dinner table. Nice box of some good "EATS"! Good job guys.  Side Note: Do the Bluegill take the same color of jigs as do the crappie for the most part?  I have found that the Bluegill seem to take a Chartreuse/Red or a Chartreuse/Pink the best.

Thanks guys for the replies. Chuck: The Bluegill seem to take the smaller jigs. We use several sizes for the crappie. As for color we get about the same results no matter what color we use. We usually pick up two to three Bluegill every other brush pile we fish.
