Since the Covid Virus has picked up I have been fishing by myself and with my younger son. Been fishing mainly South Central and Hill Country Creeks. I also managed a trip earlier in the month with friends Rick aka Catyakker and Steve. Still fishing four to five days a week. Fishing overall has been good but I have also had some very slow days . Been getting good numbers of nice Redear and Redbreast. Also catching some nice Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass, Channel Cats, and some BIG Rios. Found a bunch of spawning Bluegill in shallow water by grass beds. Also finding fish in deeper pockets of water 5 to 8 feet. Areas with overhanging tree limbs are also holding nice fish. All fish were caught on the "Bait of Champions" Worms. All fish were released to fight again. Summer time creek fishing. It just don't get any better!

Great fish and pictures That's cool you are getting to spend more time fishing with your younger son. There's a silver lining to everything. Glad Rick is getting to join in as well.

It's been so hot the fish haven't been active for me after 8:30 AM. Been catching some special fish in that 7 AM to 8 AM time frame though.

Side Note: Fly rod records are wide open at some of these spots we are fishing.

Side Note: I figured the fish would be in deeper water hanging out by the grass beds. What is your take on such big fish hanging close to the bank during the heat of the day?

Get'n at'um 4 to 5 days a week is a great week..... This covid stuff has really made changes to how we live and socialize......
