 Easy way to seperate bulk hooks?

I started making my own crappie plastics. I decided to start makin jig heads. Everything came in and i ordered 1000k hooks of each size. When i took them out of the box its just a big ball. Is this normal or is there a easy way to seperate them?

That's normal just pick them up with needle nose pliers place over a piece of paper and gently tap on paper and they drop a few . just do this till you have what you need.
I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!
