Kyle had contacted me a while back to come demo the Mepps technique and show him where I caught hybrids back in June on Lewisville. He finally called with a day off Monday the 27th, so we hooked up and fished from 6 AM to about 2 PM. We never found any hybrids, but found one really good old submerged dam loaded with big whites. They were in 24 fow. We caught 66 there then, still catching fish every cast, decided to check out some more spots. We never found them like that again, but caught 10 more whites and a cat for a total of 77 fish. It's always good to meet and fish with fellow TFFers.
