Looking to put a trolling motor on the bow of my 1860 Center Console all aluminum bass tracker, do you guys recommend MK or MG? Also, what # Thrust do you recommend?

IMHO ,(and I am no expert )These days it is all about linking electronics to your TM
Lowrance , go with MG or Lowrance
Humminbird go with MK
Garmin to with Garmin
I would say at least 80 on the thrust

I have an 80 pound Ultrex on my RT188 Ranger and it works well. I would choose either Minn Kota, Lowrance, or Garmin if I were looking for one.

I chose a MinnKota and I use Lowrance depth finder with no issues.

I would say Minn Kota, I have an Ulterra 80 lb thrust and love it.

Like said above. 80 lb thrust will do a great job. Now as far as all the electronics tied to the motor that decides brands. I have motor guide on my glass Bass boat And I have minn Kota on my aluminum rig. I like both of them but I donโt have any of the fancy motors with the spot lock stuff. I would like one but I run mine till they break.
