Fished today with My Brother in Law Charles from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Water temp low 90s and lake level full pool. Light winds & low boat traffic made for an exceptional day. We ended up with 1 tilapia, 6 Rios & 424 Sunfish. We had quite a few Red Ear and a lot of natives today. Caught fish everywhere we fished (5 areas) All caught on Gulp alive products. Tried out the Gulp Alive Crickets today & they bit it every bit as good as the minnows...used a whole jar up in about an hour. All fish released to fight another day. Best BIG bite came between 2pm & 4 pm...go figure...Had several just under a pound each. [Linked Image]

Steve, if you ever have another 100 fish day it's going to be a huge disappointment!
Good job, sir!

Ahhh, spreading the word about the Gulp Alive crickets. I bought 8 jars after I used them the other week. Glad you got into them Steve. By the way your brother is better looking than you. Haha

Tom...Charles is my brother in law...not brother, and everyone is better looking than me, so that is no shocker ! What color crickets do you use ? I was using the "breen" color.

OMG You truly are the Master.

Interesting, I don't see many red ear or hybrid sunfish in the bunch.

I also see one area that y'all are fishing on the east bank that is very shallow. Were y'all catching them on the drop off? I saw a guy catch about 7 bass in a row off the same area.

Thanks for sharing

Jamie... There is one red ear in the bottom montage...upper left. The red ear are not as photogenic...longer and not as round smile I guess we probably caught maybe 40-50 red ear. Didn't catch as many Coppernose ...maybe 25...mostly natives this trip. All areas we fished were shallow...1 foot to 6 feet except the intake area where we went as deep as 18 feet.
