I will be purchasing new graphs for the bow & console and new 80lb TM. I am really interested in the anchoring feature on the different brands of TM's as to which one will hold position the best. I am wanting to get fisherman's opinions on what y'all consider to be the best options on the market. Money is not an issue because I have been saving for this purchase. Any information is welcomed.

Who's is the best is very subjective. Something to take into consideration is if you plan on networking your graphs to your TM. If so MinnKota only links to Hummingbird. MotorGuide only links to Lowrance. Lowrance to Lowrance. Lastly Garmin to Garmin.

I switched from bird units for as long as I can remember and went with garmin for the panoptix livescope.

all garmin now, tm/livescope/3 9" touchscreens and am loving it.

force tm is outstanding, easy to set up and links to a phone app for updates etc. via wifi (not bluetooth).
tm remote is easy to use and is really nice on anchor lock so I can fish from the back of boat if I want to.
2 93sv plus and one 92sv plus (the 92 is dedicated to livescope so no maps or ducer when bought).
if you are only running 24v for tm just hook it up, if you want 36v later you just have to add the battery. brushless motor works with either voltage with no mods needed.

garmin graphs have great pictures and and are super easy to use, the livescope is great to just watch, whole new perspective on what is under the boat.

all totaled I put right at 8,000.000 into all of it, force 57", panoptix livescope, 2 93 sv plus and one 92 sv plus.
as for prices, they are all pretty much the same if you add options to the others, garmin comes with them.

A good combination on the Lowrance side would be either the Elite Ti2 or the LIVE electronics with the Ghost trolling motor. The new Active Transducer provides Side-Scan pictures that are excellent on both the LIVE & Elite Ti2 series. The Ghost will accommodate a 24 or 36 Volt system (out of the box set up for 24-volts) and provides over 90-lbs of trust in 24 volt mode. The head does not spend around up top on the Lowrance Ghost and is a brushless trolling motor with standard HDI (down-scan & sonar) or an optional 3-1 Active Imaging with side-scan.

What kind of fishing do you do ? If crappie is your game , start with Livescope from Garmin and build from there.

Just my 2 cents

good luck

Thanks to everybody that weighed in. There's a lot to consider. I guess it's time to do some more research.
