Big Redear, Bluegill, Rios, and some nice bass have been wanting to play this summer. Getting very good numbers of nice fish on a lot of trips out. The creek bite has been totally AWESOME ! Fish are staging in 3 to 8 feet of water holding by grass beds. Both float and bottom techniques are being used. Was able to get some fishing time with good friends Rick aka Catyakker and Steve. Most fish were released but some were kept for the dinner table. All fish were caught using the "Bait of Champions" worms. Creeks are still holding their own but all of them can use a lot of RAIN! Also a second sunfish spawn is on ! Got a feeling we will see a third spawn in mid to late August. Playing with the BIG SUNNIES during the summertime. It just don't get any better!

I have been noticing that the redears have been showing themselves a bit more lately. Yes, this is more likely the third or fourth spawning wave for down here and they are definitely gathering up it seems. Great day, Chuck!

Time ton eat!!

We had a hard time believing the number of 9-10 inch Slabs we were catching 3 feet from the bank at 1pm in the afternoon. Just because we quit catching in same area where we were tearing them up before, doesn't necessarily mean they quit biting. Sure had a great time.
