I use a scaled-down version of that Saltwater dropper. For Bluegill I use 8 lb mono leader dropper with a number 6 hook. But I also make them up separately, so that I have a loop at the very top so I can just clip them right on to my line, and have extras available if I lose any.

Any updates or reviews for the Tyepro? Or any other tool that you recommend to assist knot tying? I have motor skills issue in left hand and eyesight seems to get worse every year.

Eddie...I have been using this gadget since July. It helps me quite a bit. I pre-tie all my drop shot setups (VMC spinshot hook, line & sinker) in my garage, so that I only have one knot to tie when on the water.
Advantages: 1) Ease of getting the line through the hook eye...2) tying the knot...I use the "improved clinch knot" for all my fishing so using the gadget to make the turns on the line, helps immensely, especially when using VMC spinshot. The VMC spinshot is great for preventing line twists, but terrible for tying this type of knot. I use the Tyepro a lot and am not sorry I made the purchase...Hope this helps.
