what is a "slam"???? am only seeing Articles 26 thru 34 on TFF

The search function should pull those articles up for you; then just click on Email Post to get it to your computer to download.. A River or Creek Channel Slam is where that channel touches the best piece of structure in the area. This might even be the shoreline that it Slams against. I delivers fish to that piece of structure and all the irregular features that it holds.

Depth - Bait - Structure

Edge of creek channel in 12 feet of water suspended against timber


Off a point that drops off into deep creek channel


Off creek channel in 8 feet of water throwing a deep diving crank bait


Standing timber, suspended at 10 feet in 20 feet of water near entrance to cove
