For you folks that have boats tied up or on a lift along the coast.......you may wanna act now. Tides will rise. Get your rig out of the water and trailer it to higher ground. Bigger boats with radar units etc., that sit under a deck...beware. Here along Galveston, we are expected to get maybe 8" of rain and higher winds. As far as storm surge in this area, I can't say how high as yet. Stay tuned to your local weather channel if you live along the coast. Secure all loose items you may have on your property, and stay safe.
