I don't get it. If you or your family moved here to escape the place you living, so you can have a "better life," then why the (ahem) are you flying the prior countries flag? Someone in your family fled from there to escape the political/religious persecution, the horrible living conditions and poverty and came here, to America, to hopefully provide a a better life for future generations of their family. Yeah, it might be your heritage...your HISTORY...but that's it, it's history. Here's a thought...try waving the American flag! That's where you live NOW. If you're so proud of your heritage, take your unhappy arse on back to there, see what it's like. Maybe then you'll understand what a privileged society we live in where you can turn a knob and get fresh clean water to drink and bathe in. Or have food readily available en mass. Sore subject with me. Went to Lowes, saw a gentleman in full fatigues there and paid for his stuff for him, thanked him for his service. Driving home and saw this, standing on the bridge over I-30. Twinkle Toes just waving his flag over the interstate.

I have no issue with it as long as it does not fly higher than an American flag flown at the same place at the same time. Per U.S. Flag Code, no other nation's flag can fly in a "superior position" to the U.S. flag in the United States or her territories. Other nations have other rules but in the USA, our flag must fly at the highest point possible.

I was always taught you can fly whatever flags you wish in addition to the American flag, but the American flag should always fly highest. ^^this As long as American Flag is flown the highest (and a 1/2 inch higher doesn't count), I have no problem with it.

Lots of variables
Six Flags flies six flags Not unusual for an Italian restaurant to fly an Italian flag, etc Hotels near airports at times fly multiple different flags depending on the nationality of the occupants Errrr, make that 5 flags now. Took down the Confederate flag. I'm assuming they will change their name then? Nope will stay 6-flags as they will be adding a Black Lives matter flag!

I have to agree with someone who said that there are a lot of variables. I mean, there is a hell of a lot of stores, restaurants, or even hotels that have some other flags besides the American one. And just as someone said above, mainly there are Mexican flags, Italian flags and English ones. You can also spot a lot of Irish flags; however, it depends on the area. Because of that, I do not see any issues with having the Mexican flag flying in front of someone's store. I am ok with that. I also have a store, and I have installed the German flag there, as my grandparents are from Germany. I even installed it on the best flag pole lightbest flag pole light so everyone could see it at night .
