I take it twice a day for my arthritis for well over a year . It has no real bad side effects and i for one love it . Works well with my small amount of prednisone I take with it . And I do not have Corona LOL .

I'll add that the anecdotal evidence for good results is preponderant over any bad as the article opined.

It was asked why give an antibiotic (actually and ant-malarial) to a virus. The obvious answer is, although a virus, the Zithromax seems to interfere with its replication and this effect is amplified in combination with hydroxychloriquine. Why give the same drug to those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis or lupus is the question you should ask yourself.

There are studies out there that totally contradict each other about the drugs efficacy. I think the key is early use if one is going to use it or the combo with the Zithromaz. Should be left up to the patient and his/her doc.

BTW, the cardiac side effect with the drug (Q-T wave prolongation) is also common with the antibiotic Levaquin/Levofloxacin along with a ton of other common drugs. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1767957/
