I would draw the line at pulling guns, getting into fights or cutting people off on purpose type stuff.
Long ago while just fishing during a large tournament on R Chambers (I was not in the tournament) I found a large group of fish on a ledge. It was out from the bank in 35 feet of water and the what got my attention was a dozen or so stumps rising several feet off the bottom. I had caught several fish while the tourney was going on and boats were flying by.
As I caught one fish, between 5 and 6 pounds, on a spur of the moment impulse I took him, held him up in the air as a couple boats were passing by. I lifted the livewell door, looked in and then put the fish back in the lake. Both boats were looking real close but neither stopped. I've only been back to the lake since then when the fish shallow. In the spring.
Was I bad?
May 4, 2023 Once again, I agree with you.

Cutting trot lines that ran across the mouth of coves or creeks. It was cut them or get them wrapped up in my trolling motor prop.

I was mean tonight. Luckily, he left before weigh in.
Different time, I pulled up on one of my brush piles I made to see a guy fishing it with his kids and another guy. I watched them cast at it multiple times with no success, so I proceeded to cast a watermelon red wacky rigged Senko and caught 7-8 fish real quick. I pulled the trolling motor and told him that it was Karma that kept lazy guys from catching fish on someone else’s brush pile.
....the list goes on.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Fishing a neck on P.K. high school kids on jet ski's were flying to close, I hollered at em to be a little more courteous and they responded by getting a little closer. I calmly put my Texas rig down, dug in the rod locker and picked up a rod with a 5/8 oz. slab on it and hooked one of those turkeys in the back of the neck. the 50 # power pro busted off in the blink of an eye and those dudes were GONE! I went back fishing half way expecting to meet dad the game warden or the B.R.A. but none ever showed. Mea Culpa.

Years ago, when I first got on the water with my kayak, I took the boating guidelines too literally and thought you were always supposed to pass a head on approaching vessel on the port side if possible. (Approaching head on pass port to port if possible is the general boating rule)
With bass fishing, in a narrow creek, passing port to port when approaching head on would result in messing up some of the shallow water fish half the time for the other vessel
I did this once and then rethought the guidelines after a pleasant discussion with a good ole boy near the Louisiana border.

Guy putting brush piles in lakes, have you considered this the same as littering? You are dumping trees, wood scrap, piping with concrete, metal , or other heavy objects plus containers to keep trash upright into waterways. Just because they are covered by water doesn't mean its not littering. Just a thought.

After much effort in trying to get the hook out a bass as safely and quickly as possible, I've pulled the gills of a bass out through its mouth. Is that what you wanted to hear, Allison?

...I almost prop washed a few cast netters for walking over my spot I was fishing. My buddy begged me not to.
When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip! #Brockstarama

A buddy of mine was fishing in the Arlington Bass Club back in the 80s on Eagle Mountain. It was Spring and a huge thunderstorm was heading in on them, buddy said they started heading back to boat ramp and the storm hit and he said he just got a growling sensation in his bowels and knew he had to take a dump real quick so they pulled up to an empty boat dock and pulled the boat in out of the rain, he went to the front of the boat to drop a deuce and had just finished, turned around and looked up at the house and the owner and his wife were sitting at the window drinking coffee staring at him. Needless to say they backed out real quick into the lightening and rain and got the heck out of there. When mother nature calls you gotta go!

^^^^agree, when you gotta go, go. Holding isn’t good for the o-rings.
Those are just the normal things that go along with owning waterfront lake property Expect to see and hear nature in all its forms.
