Today, a coworker of mine has updated our office on a former coworker, Kilder Velasco. This year, he has lost both of his parents and a brother to CoVid and he is currently in the hospital himself. It sounds like doctors are optimistic for him but it has obviously been a very difficult year.

He was a great crew chief for our company. He was one of the guys that our customers specifically requested because of his friendly manner and excellent work. He left on good terms for greener pastures. He gained U.S. Citizenship about 3 years ago and has been a model citizen. I know that he had a sister in Peru who was in the process of immigrating to the U.S. but I don't know where or how she is now. I'm hoping that she is well and they will be able to see each other through these hard times.

If you have an extra minute, spare a thought for him.
