Do they work well. They look to be out of the way ,compact and add very little weight. My 30 year old jumped in for fun to cool off and it was hard to get him back in the boat. If I fell in it would take a crane to get me out without a ladder. I’m on the edge of buying a Twist Step. I’m sure some of you run them so let me know how you feel please.

I have one on my boat. Works great. I have a Slidemaster jackplate so I used the bracket that came with it. I mounted mine on the starboard side. T& H has it on sale right now.

Rick, do you have side view on your fishfinder? If so, does the step interfere with the side view?

Yes I have sidescan and no the ladder does not interfere with it.

Saw a new FXR at Fork yesterday. It had the twist step and dual power poles. Anyone know what the part number is that adapts the steps to the starboard PowerPole adapter?

If you had a power pole you couldn’t get up the step into the boat. I guess you could bear hug the power pole until you fell off. Kind of an elevator in a one story building with no basement thing. Why?
