I see your ctug well behind the seat, moving it forward will ease moving your kayak.
I believe you can move it up to track running across the kayak and the seat and still have it wanting to tilt down towards the bow.
Try different placement to determine where the balance point is and move it back a bit so kayak wants to tip bow down.
This will allow you to not have to lift as much weight when moving the kayak.
On the coosa hd, the rod holders behind the seat have a little hump which helps hold the strap in place.
One thing I learned on the forum was in warm weather you can put the ctug on/off with the kayak in the water avoiding having to lift kayak when at the ramp.
I let line out for my anchor and put in on the ramp then pull my kayak out till the ctug goes under it and buckle it down.
