The bite for me was a challenging one yesterday morning but we still managed a few nice ones. The majority of the fish were suspended 14 to 16 ft down in 22 to 25 ft of water. We caught most of the fish on jigs and it didn’t seem to matter which color because for some reason there was only going to be a few fish per school that were going to bite. We could drop a minnow down after catching the first few fish and there still wouldn’t be any takers. Looks like you just need to keep moving and present your bait to as many as you can.
