It has gotten now where even in a county that does not have the mask mandate the stores are requiring one. IMO if the store requires one in a county that doesn't they should provide you with one. They should be able to do whatever they want to do. They are just trying to protect their employees. Maybe they should provide shoes as well for those that run barefoot?

Their businesses and their right to run them as they see fit. I can only choose where I spend my money. A year or so ago I said the same about the bakery that was being sued for not baking a cake for a gay wedding so I have to be consistent and say I support a business owner running their business as they want to. Exactly right.

Plenty of businesses I walk into on my travels are not enforcing the mandated mask rule, Many of them are providing mask for customers, they’re just leaving up to the customers as a choice!

I keep at least a dozen of the blue one use masks in the vehicles. I don't let what other people do dictate my choices, especially with masks. If I am in a store I'm wearing one.
As of now, its pretty much the law in Texas. I am surprised how many ignore it and don't care about how it affects the economy.

We stopped it once before without masks then came the murder riots. As I recall you favored shutting down everything without regard to the economy but now masks will save the economy? How do you reconcile the all-over-the-place thinking your have?

We stopped it once before without masks then came the murder riots. As I recall you favored shutting down everything without regard to the economy but now masks will save the economy? How do you reconcile the all-over-the-place thinking your have? What is all-over-the-place thinking that face masks or shutting down when we did NOT help the economy? Doing those kept more business open in the long run. I know you favored ignoring the problem and let everyone get the virus. I know you blame the riots and not the states opening up which happened around the same time. A hundred thousand rioters mostly out in the open, many or most who wore face masks vs millions of people who went into newly opened businesses. I doubt the rioters had near as much affect as opening up did on the numbers. I bet Abbott regrets opening up like we did only to now be facing the rising numbers. Both shutting down early when we did not know how to react properly and wearing masks helped to keep the numbers low. That in turn keeps the economy going. Or ignore the problem and hope everyone comes over to your way of thinking.
