Good Morning all, I have been dormant on the forum for awhile. With that being said, I am heading to the coast the first weekend in August. Looking for any advice or guidance as this is going to be my first time bay fishing. Thanks in advance.

What boat do you have? Dictates where you can or canโ€™t go.

I would leave that boat at home. The saltwater corrosion will not be nice to it.

Going to try everything except the kitchen sink and waders. Artificial, live shrimp, maybe crabs as well. Only have a day and a half of fishing. Then back to work.

Most of the trout are getting caught wading north shore between long and contee.

OP no offense but if you have a painted steel trailer like most of these boats have you're likely gonna regret dipping that trailer in salt water. You can probably save yourself a bucket of money and hire a guide and leave the boat at home.

You get out of it what you put into it!
