Watching the game on MLB network and they have cardboard cutout fans behind the plate and piped in fan noise. Haven't seen any other games this year. Is this going on at other stadiums during preseason and will it continue into the regular season?
Haven't really kept up with anything sports related except the MLB season starts around the 23rd.

Fans pay to have their face on those cutouts with the money going to charity. Looks kinda goofy though.

Rangers are doing the same thing. $50 and the money goes to charity. And they will be piping in crowd noise during the broadcast.

Purity of baseball has become a thing of the past. The rangers just wasted 1.1 billion dollars on a warehouse stadium.
Wonder whatโs gonna happen to the old ball park, certainly not going to have any games from any sport venues!

2 of the worst looking stadiums in the Pro ranks, now reside in Arlington and 1 of the best looking ballparks in America is going to be a wasteland. So sad! When they said state of the art stadium, I'm thinking something like Minnesota or Atlanta not what they built.
