Looking for an all purpose baitcaster, could be 6.3 to 7.5 and want to pay right a a hundred bucks. Which one and why. I have 2 that head up ,my list. Thanks.

Casts great, feels good in the hand, and is holding up really well.

Abu Garcia Revo x. I have a couple and they are smooth, lightweight, tough, and very comfortable to fish all day. Used to fish almost exclusively Shimano until I tried one of these last year.

If you don't mind used, you can get Revo SX and SXT on Ebay for around $100. Just have to look around.

I'd get either a Lew's Speed Spool in whichever model(LFS/BB-1) they sell for $100 or a Pro Qualifier from Bass Pro. I use and abuse those reels and they keep on ticking! Of course getting them cleaned once a year helps too lol.
