I put together a video about how I use my thumper for striper, hybrids and sandbass in different seasons and with different fishing techniques. If you have ever wanted to know about thumpers, check it out. Also note that these are different boats, fiberglass, aluminum etc. https://youtu.be/Xv43xPXKCsE

Any advice for a pontoon boat? I’ve never been able to find the sweet spot and have pretty much given up on thumping. Not an issue now but would like to figure it our for Winter.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Learn something new every day. I had seen thumping mentioned and did not know what it was. Now I know. Not sure I believe it, but at least I know.....

Lots Any advice for a pontoon boat? I’ve never been able to find the sweet spot and have pretty much given up on thumping. Not an issue now but would like to figure it our for Winter. I would try to get it as close to the water column as possible and towards the center of the boat so that everyone can share the thump. Some people put them in compartments or their console and they seem to do fine there. Call me if you have additional questions, you may have to move it a little to find the sweet spot.
