The only lodge ( houseboat ) at the Chandeleurs is the Chandeleur Islander located about in the middle of the main Chandeleur islands. It is a converted jack up oil field service boat which can accommodate 24 guests. Its run like a hotel as you can normally book last minute reservations....especially during the week..the nice part about it is the roomy accommodations and it jacks up out the water so no rocking and rolling or worrying about storms. There are floating mother boats that usually anchor in the same location but need advance reservations and groups of 6-12 to book. There are many on line to choose from.
