It’s a general question on purpose.

Generally asking I would focus on night patterns first thing in the morning then move to where the cooler water is throughout the day. Topwater presentations early maybe then focus on shade over deep water.

Points next to channels first off, then hit marinas close to them.

Start before sunrise (5-5:30), hunting the bass chasing shad in the weeds on points. Throwing frogs and topwaters too just to see if something gets going. Once the sun is up and the shallow fish shut down, move to main lake offshore structures and throw cranks to see if the bass are active, if not, go to jigs and Carolina Rigs. If nothing happens, move to another structure and then head home before brain melts and comes running our ears and nose holes. So off the water by 11:00.

Summer fishing and I aren’t friends. I don’t like to get up early, and summer has it hot as balls by 11.

Went the past few mornings and skipped shady docks and then chased schoolies later. Was off by 10-11 each morning to prevent heat stroke roflmao

Some lakes are flat, some are steep so it's a hard answer to find generally. Hope that makes sense

If you can find cold water with current during the day then you will be ok.

I understand senko, just wanted to get a general post flowing from people sharing what has been working for them on their area lake. Every lake is different but in the summer time there can be a lot of shared tactics that work on several lakes is all.

I know, always trying my best to help anyone. Just being honest. PM me a lake or post one on here and I'll be happy to tell you everything I know about it.

Telling it like it should be, that's all brother. Been in the industry way too long to have anglers seek the wrong information. Hope you understand
