I buy black and decker electric knifes at Walmart. They are cheap enough to buy a new ones when the blades wear out. They cut through red snapper ribs and work well on crappie, catfish, and bluegill. I have cleaned 200 pound sharks with them.

I use the Cordless Rapala Ion, but use the Saltwater Blades for the American Angler Pro electric knife.

I think you will be very happy. I even get the Titanium Blades for $5 more.

Hope this helps you.

I just bought a set of Bubba's fillet knives at Academy, hope to try them out this weekend. I know their fillet knife is good.

Same her!

but if you have a chain saw file, you can sharpen electric knife blades. It doesn't take but a few minutes.

I'd like to get a cordless knife but I'm afraid that I'll be disappointed by the power or run time. I wish Milwaukee made an M12 Fuel fillet knife.

I used the American Angler Pro for over 5 years.

Jerry Hancock introduced me to this Rapala knife. It is not their only cordless knife.

This is the only one I can attest too.

https://www.scheels.com/p/rapala-lithium-ion-cordless-fillet-knife-combo/02267727545.html

I bought the above kit. It comes with a very nice carrying case and two batteries.

You can run off one battery for 80 minutes continuous use.

I cleaned 100 on one battery. You will then have a spare battery that comes with the kit.

You don't run it continually while cleaning fish.

I do not use the blades that come with it for cleaning fish.

I use the American Angler Pro Saltwater Blades. See the link in my previous post on the thread.

You will not be disappointed.

run time on mine isn't an issue, more so I may as well be using a hatchet as dull as the blades are.

anxious to try the new ones.

Nothing better than just a plain old sharp fillet Knife.

I don't use electric - I keep 3 of them surgically sharp.

the key word is sharp

This is the one I have and it has never let me down. I have let a few others use it and they said it would be their next one.
