Yes...They have always been open to the public...two places to launch a boat.

Yes...They have always been open to the public...two places to launch a boat.
My letter (e-mail) went out today... One public ramp which is under IH 35. The other is at Schumann Beach which is privately owned. The owner charges a small fee to launch your boat from his ramp. He can easily change his mind and not allow anyone to use his ramp. As for the ramp under IH 35 the State owns it and I do not think they would ever close the ramp. For what I have been told Lake Mcqueeney never had a State owned boat ramp. All of the ramps on Mcqueeney were located on private property.  Side Note: I would not endorse anything that is associated with GBRA. Just my two cents.
