Just posted they are closed again this weekend. Mixed feelings on this one. My buddies down there are on the fence as well, said they were seeing tons of bass filetted at the cleaning station including a lot of undersize bass.

Their closed every weekend until further notice. Thank all the dirtbags that ignored social distancing and trashed the parks.

There is a prior post on this - but according to the NPS facebook page its for health and safety reasons. My buddies there said the park has been trashed on the weekends with huge parties and people just not caring. Lot of guys driving off road and damaging the grounds. No social distancing, no masks. And the fisherman are paying the price for the idiots. I've heard they are trying to build gates on the road that takes you to Diablo (the dirt roads that go to the picnic areas) and then might open the ramp there. Might also open Box. Gates are up. Yes starting dropping at this time. No they won't open one area and close a different area.
