Does anyone have an opinion about Crestliner boats? I am looking at a new boat in the next couple of weeks and have been looking at Crestliner and Xpress. I don’t know much about either one and would like to hear some thoughts.

The Multi species fishermen on the great lakes talk highly of them . I was looking for a multi species boat for awhile and decided if I went aluminum it would be Crestliner all the way .

They make a good boat. Either of your choices are good! Mark Standridge is in a Crestliner probably every day of the year!

I have an Xpress H20 Bay and we love it. Plenty of room for fishing and enough seating to take 5 or 6 out for a day of fun.

My fishing partner drives a Crestliner. Excellent boat with the widest bow platform I've seen on one. It's like fishing off an aircraft carrier... thumb

I've got a crestliner TC 18 with a 90HP mercury and I love it. has two big livewells, one up front and one on the back. doesn't use any gas or oil. has a 70lb thrust trolling motor that will almost get it on plane if I needed. have no gripes about it at all.

never heard anything bad about a crestliner, but what ever you get put a minnkota trolling motor on it with auto deploy. You can thank me later

After Mark Standridge, Three Nails Guide Service, had been guiding about 18 months, I asked him if he could get any boat he wanted for guiding crappie fishing, what would it be? He said this same Crestliner. Good enough for me.

I don’t care for aluminum boats.

my partner has a 2018 pt 18 and its junk. had to take it back to the dealer several times for porpoising issues (dealer said very common problem cause they had a bad hull design) and they had to weld trim tabs on the back it helped but still not perfect. the bottom floor by the console feels like ur going to fall through it. Then the trailer isnt much better, one of the running boards already broke, carpet is already ripping on the bunks several missing bolts and screws. he was backing his boat off the trailer a few days ago and one of the running boards came off his trailer cause they used tiny screws to hold the boards down. the brackets that the boards sit on are already bent. he fishes about once a week and never travels very far to fish and it stays under a boat shed. Theres other design flaws also.
