My kids better go to school. I ordered about $100 worth of spirit shirts for them yesterday.

What if someone who lives in the same house as a teacher tests positive? Does that teacher now need to take 14 days off of work to quarantine? Is that time off covered?

Where is the district going to find a substitute teacher who will work in a classroom full of exposed, possibly infected students for substitute pay?

Substitutes teach in multiple schools. What if they are diagnosed with COVID-19? Do all the kids in each school now have to quarantine and get tested? Who is going to pay for that?

What if a student in your kid's class tests positive? What if your kid tests positive? Does every other student and teacher they have been around quarantine? Do we all get notified who is infected and when? Or because of HIPAA regulations are parents and teachers just going to get mysterious “may have been in contact” emails all year long?

Interesting, has your form of Democratic Socialism already run out of money? I’m confused, I thought everything was free.

Throw your line in the water somewhere else. This is a no trolling zone. Your questions have been or in process of being addressed at the state/district levels.

These are all legitimate questions. No one knows how all of this will work if schools even open this fall. You sir are the troll. Get outta here!

Lots of questions pasted - so if sooooo concerned about in-person back to school where was the uproar pre-Covid when kids have been subject to so many other diseases that were way more deadly to kids? Oh, and I guess the idea to remove school police officers is in the best interest of the kids’ safety too?

You might want to email him and ask. My suspicion is he inflated the 1370 number to gain a knee jerk reaction. I would think an exoert could get closer than a 1330 difference in range spectrums.

Until people get over the "we're all gonna die if we catch it" idea, panic rules the roost.

Kids get sick every year in school, bring it home, get everyone else sick. That .5% of the population that has something to worry about if they catch the wuflu need to take extra precautions.

No doubt this virus is real to the at risk folks, I don't think anyone can dispute that. But for the other 99.5% of the people out there? The sooner they get it and get over it the better.

The hooplah over the deaths in Texas.... 40% of them are in assisted living or nursing homes. Shame on the administrators for not doing the right thing.

"Nearly 40% of Texas’ fatalities were residents of long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Other hotspots included prisons and meatpacking plants, according to the Texas Tribune."

As I said I think he is trying to gain a kneejerk reaction more than anything. When "experts" spit out numbers like that and are agenda driven they should be held accountable.
